GolfNow is proud to have been the headline sponsor of the 2025 Belfast Sports Awards, held at Belfast City Hall on 30 May. This event, organised by Belfast City Council, honoured the dedication and achievements of athletes, coaches, volunteers, and teams across the city.

Our Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives, Sara-Louise Bowman, expressed our enthusiasm

“GolfNow is delighted to partner with Belfast City Council on these prestigious awards, celebrating the individuals who make sport thrive in our communities. Our core values—fostering connection, engagement, health and wellbeing, learning and development, and recognising those who strive for greatness—align closely with the spirit of these awards.”

Fiona Hampton, VP of International Golf, tee’d off the awards ceremony, informing guests of our brand’s connection to the city. With our roots firmly planted in Belfast, GolfNow and BRS Golf were proud to champion the incredible talent of our local sporting stars.

The 2025 awards highlighted the remarkable achievements of Belfast’s sportspeople, including the induction of Marissa Callaghan and Michael Halliday into the Sporting Hall of Fame. Their contributions to football have inspired many and exemplify the excellence these awards aim to recognise.

We are especially proud that BRS Golf, a division of GolfNow, sponsored the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award. Volunteers are the backbone of sports organisations, and their commitment ensures that clubs remain accessible and welcoming. Through our technology and partnerships, GolfNow is dedicated to supporting these vital contributors to the sporting community. We were delighted to see Hazel McKee, recognised for her incredible dedication at both a BRS Golf and GolfNow client, Balmoral Golf Club. Our staff have enjoyed a number of society golf days at Balmoral over the years and, as Hazel has been volunteering at the club for 53 years(!), are well aware of the amazing job that Hazel and the team have done here.

At GolfNow, we believe in the power of sport to bring communities together and promote wellbeing. Our involvement in initiatives like the Belfast Sports Awards reflects our commitment to supporting and celebrating the individuals who make a difference through sport.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the nominees and winners. Your dedication and passion are what make Belfast’s sporting community exceptional.
